Suspended Scaffolding

Most of our projects are on live buildings in busy City Centre areas, therefore we install specialist suspended scaffolding to ensure the impact on buildings, the residents, or customers is kept to an absolute minimum!

Suspended scaffolding also saves the client £££ when compared with traditional scaffolding from the ground up.

All of our scaffold is bespoke designed to meet the client’s needs.

Here are the benefits to suspended scaffold:

Up to 90% reduction on hire costs (less scaffold less cost)

Up to 60% reduction labour costs (less scaffold to build, the quicker it takes)

No disruption to footfall traffic for offices/hotels/shops/businesses as there is no scaffold positioned on the pavement.

More secure from trespassers or potential break ins, as the scaffold is installed at height and therefore it is not easy to access from the ground.

Less council permits required, saving time, hassle and money.

No hoarding required, another cost saving measure.

More aesthetically pleasing from the outside, particularly useful if the building is a hotel or bar trying to attract customers.

Improved lighting and ventilation for internal building users, conventional scaffold systems restrict natural light and, in most cases, prevent the windows from being opened.

If the scaffold is to be used for Crown to carry out works, we can design the scaffold so it is only accessible using rope access techniques, which adds an extra level of security.

Access Platforms

Access Platforms

We specialise in bespoke access platforms which allow safe access to areas where other access methods, such as ladders, towers or rope access , are not appropriate

Our bespoke access platforms are suitable for hard to reach areas and can be designed to suit any requirement.

Our platforms are custom built and allow operatives to work within the specified area, allow access to specific machinery, but also allows the client to access such hard to reach area to observe and inspect ongoing work.

Fan Deck Scaffolding

Fan Deck Scaffolding

We often install bespoke Fan deck scaffolding to reduce the possibility of falling objects, causing damage or injury, whilst offering reliable protection against any falling debris/objects.

Bespoke Design & Build

Bespoke Design & Build

We work with Structural Engineers to provide an effective design and build strategy which means that we can build bespoke scaffolding direct to the areas of concern, rather than unnecessary and costly full scaffolding.

Scaffold Drawings will be drawn up and submitted to the client before the commencement of any project. Once approved, we can provide a clear schedule of works to build the bespoke scaffold in the most efficient way possible

We work with the client to ensure the building and its residents are not impacted throughout the build, working around the business hours of the customers in the buildings.

We will submit drawings to be approved by the client before the commencement of any project. Once approved, we can provide a clear schedule of works in line with the client’s time constraints.

Working on a large Grade Listed Building project can be challenging;

but Crown’s professionalism, knowledge and experience has proved invaluable when working with Conservation and the Council as Principal Contractor.”
