A confined space is a place where access and egress is restricted, and where serious injury can occur from hazardous substances or conditions within the space or nearby (e.g. lack of oxygen).
Crown Services have Confined Space operatives who are fully trained in rescue procedures and using Breathing Apparatus should an emergency situation arise.
We work within HSE Guidelines, primarily the Safe Work in Confined Spaces and Confined Spaces Regulations 1997.
